On July 5, 402 volunteers attended beach cleanups around Lake Tahoe to pick up 4.3 tons of trash from Fourth of July celebrations. -
Several organizations in the Lake Tahoe area have developed a destination stewardship plan to protect the lake from the negative impacts of tourism, just in time for the 4th of July weekend. -
The Biden-Harris Administration announced on June 20 it would spend over $3 million to fund projects that protect the Lake Tahoe Basin.
