Nevada legislators will have about $191 million less than originally anticipated to build a new two-year budget. That's according to the latest analysis from the state's Economic Forum, which met last week.
You may have heard about the executive order the White House ordered last week directing the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to “cease federal funding for NPR and PBS,” which it may not have the authority to do. But if public media is defunded, it won’t hurt “somewhere else.” It’ll hurt right here at home.
