Tribal judges in Nevada face threats and harassment but lack the same legal protections as state and local judges—primarily those living off-reservation who rely on local law enforcement. Assembly Bill 150 (AB150) seeks to close this legal gap by criminalizing threats and intimidation against tribal judges, increasing penalties for assault and battery, and providing confidentiality protections to safeguard their personal information.
